Project title: „Innovative programming services for Industry 4.0 based on green technological solutions”.

Project objective: to increase the competitiveness of KBA Automatic Sp. z o.o. on the market by developing a new process enabling the provision of innovative programming services in the area of industrial automation for Industry 4.0.

Short project description: The subject of the project is the implementation by the Applicant KBA Automatic Sp. z o.o. of a process and product innovation on a global level with the use of technologies contributing to environmental protection. The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of KBA Automatic Sp. z o.o. on the market by developing a new technological process which will enable to provide innovative programming services for Industry 4.0. The objective will be achieved by carrying out development works and providing the company with equipment and software of the latest generation. As part of the project, KBA Automatic Sp. z o.o. will develop and implement a technological process which will enable the company to provide new services – programming of robotic production lines using industrial robots and new-generation controllers.

The project includes two main tasks: conducting development works and purchase of fixed and intangible assets. Development work will be focused on the application of innovative methods and techniques of artificial intelligence and neural networks in the process of programming of robotic production lines. The new programming service will be provided on the basis of standard and high level languages and with the use of models. The preparation of the investment in terms of organizational, technical, formal, and financial security has been thoroughly thought out and confirms the high degree of advancement of the project for implementation. The implementation of the project, based on the latest generation solutions applied, will positively influence the development of KBA Automatic Sp. z o.o., the industry of industrial automation, while protecting the natural environment.

On 20.09.2023 at 10:00 a.m., a presentation was made to conclude the project entitled „Innovative programming services for Industry 4.0 based on green technological solutions”.

During the meeting, the results of the conducted research work were presented.

On 07.09.2021 at 10:00 a.m. a presentation was held inaugurating the start of the project entitled „Innovative programming services for Industry 4.0 based on green technological solutions”.

During the meeting, information on the co-financing of the investment, project objectives, planned activities, discussed work schedule and project indicators were presented.

KBA Automatic Krzysztof Bochenek has completed a project under the Environmental Technologies scheme of the programme „Development of Entrepreneurship and Innovation” co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, 2014-2021. The project developed and implemented an innovative service for programming robotic production lines.

The service includes:

  • Development of the robotic station concept,

  • Development of electrical documentation,

  • Prefabrication of control cabinets,

  • Programming of Allen Bradley PLCs,

  • Creation of HMI visualizations on Allen Bradley operator panels,

  • Programming KUKA robots,

  • Programming of vision systems based on depth cameras and neural networks,

  • Commissioning of the robot station at the customer’s site,

  • Post commissioning technical support.
