The aim of the project is to increase the research and development activity of KBA Automatic Sp. z o.o. by developing an advanced system for automatic guidance and control of fire monitor. The system is designed to precisely detect fire outbreaks and quickly respond to the risk.

 

Target groups for the solution developed under the project primarily include facilities involved in the storage and warehousing of goods and waste, such as recycling plants and landfills. The solution is also aimed at other industrial facilities where it is necessary to differentiate heat sources.

 

The project has planned the following tasks:

  1. Industrial research on the development of an algorithm to identify heating areas.
  2. Industrial research on developing a system for determining the severity of a wildfire.
  3. Industrial research on developing a combination of images from independent cameras to make the system three-dimensional.
  4. Industrial research on developing an automation system and algorithm for controlling a fire monitor with a PLC.
  5. Experimental development work on testing and system integration.

 

The research is expected to achieve the development of an automatic system for accurate detection of fire outbreaks and response adequate to the detected scale of the threat.

is implementing a project under the European Union Projects scheme of the programme:

“Development of an intelligent transport system for the logistics industry”

GRANT VALUE: 5 136 562,03 PLN

The aim of the project is to develop a highly efficient, universal transport system corresponding to the identified needs of the logistics industry related to the increasing amount of logistic units and the growing number of objects of unusual form processed in conveyor transport and sorting systems.

 

The recipients of the innovative solution will be companies in the logistics industry.

 

The effect and planned results will be a marketed product innovation in the form of a solution using intelligent algorithms for synchronization, visualization and detection of objects, which is expected to translate into increased efficiency, reduced downtime, decreased energy consumption and labor intensity of the recipients’ process.

 

The following activities are planned as part of the project:

 

  • modeling and simulation studies of the conveyor system with high precision object tracking and high movement dynamics,
  • construction and testing of the physical conveyor system,
  • construction of a prototype detection system, development and verification of algorithms for identifying the position of an induced object relative to the side edges of the conveyor,
  • development of a detection and classification system for heterogeneous objects on the conveyor.
  • selection and development of a prototype vision system for tracking objects on conveyors,
  • dynamic testing of the vision system for tracking objects on conveyors,
  • conveyor system integration and testing under near real-world conditions.

The aim of the project entitled: “Expansion of the information system at KBA Automatic Krzysztof Bochenek” is to increase competitiveness through support and development of information and communication technologies in the activities of KBA Automatic Krzysztof Bochenek.

 

The result of the project will be:

 

  • modernization of all business processes of the company and increase in their efficiency through the implementation of additional modules of the integrated ERP system, which will translate into lower operating costs (optimization of warehouse management, better supervision of sales, production and service areas),
  • increasing the use of ICT in the company by introducing additional functionalities in individual business areas and increasing the availability of production andservice software at workplaces,
  • up-to-dateness of key data necessary at individual workplaces,
  • increasing the security of stored documentation by increasing the scope of data processed in one ERP system,
  • increased system reliability through new functionalities that automate and support the functioning of individual business processes.

The main goal of the project “Research on the development of an Intelligent Robotic Cell for Industry 4.0.” is to increase the R&D activity of KBA Automatic Krzysztof Bochenek by conducting industrial research and development work necessary to develop an inteligent robotic cell for Industry 4.0. The project is about:

 

1. Acquiring new knowledge during industrial research on the development of technology for the detection, retrieval and arrangement of heterogeneous physical objects based on the mechanism of deep learning and visualization of the predicted structure of the placed objects in an augmented reality environment and the construction of an intelligent robotic cell for Industry 4.0.

 

2. Confirmation of the knowledge acquired in development work enabling the development and testing real conditions of an intelligent robotic cell for Industry 4.0.

 

The result of the research campaign will be the creation of a globally innovative product in the form of an intelligent robotic cell for Industry 4.0 with implemented technology for detection,      collection and arrangement of heterogeneous physical objects based on the mechanism of deep learning and visualization of the predicted structure of the placed objects in an augmented reality environment.

The aim of the project is to increase competitiveness through support and development of information and communication technologies in the activities of KBA Automatic Krzysztof Bochenek.

 

The result of the project implementation will be:

 

  • modernization of all business processes of the company and increase in their efficiency through the expansion of a modern integrated ERP system, translating into lower operating costs, and greater competitiveness on the market,
  • increasing the use of ICT in the company by covering all business processes in the project,
  • updating of key data necessary to provide services, available at the place of their provision,
  • increasing the security of stored documentation by organizing it and placing it in one ERP system,
  • increasing the reliability of IT systems, by replacing many dispersed components with functionalities integrated within one ERP system,
  • increasing the availability of individual ERP software functionalities among individual business process participants.

The subject of the project is to carry out industrial research and development works at KBA Automatic Krzysztof Bochenek to introduce market real-time synchronization technology for electric motors installed in multi-drive industrial elevators to the market.

According to the knowledge available, it can be concluded that the Applicant intends to develop a solution that has not been used before – it plans to introduce a product and process innovation that has not been used before in the world. The Applicant’s solution will transfer the control together with calculations and the entire algorithm to the PLC level, thanks to which the inverters will receive at the same time the set results of calculations for motion conversions for the motors. The Applicant intends to obtain functionalities previously unavailable in alternative solutions in the world.
